1. Consider The Following

What kind of server do you want?

  • PvP, PvE, both
  • Bots & Third Party Tools
  • Admin Support or Wild West
  • Is there a lore?

How many Prisoners are on the Island?

  • Low count vs High count Slots
  • Doesn’t mean you’ll fill them
  • Potential for growth

2. Comb Through Basic

Go through the Basic section of your Server Settings. This is important.

It covers basic details like your server name, slots, password, and message shown to new prisoners.

In addition to that, it covers basic details for puppets, animals, the sentry, and cargo drops.

3. Make A List

If you have Prisoners that come in on special transport buses, add them in the List section.

Reserved Player List is your Whitelist for certain Prisoners to access the server.

Admin Access allows certain Prisoners to use Server Commands and the Drone.

Ban List will prevent certain Prisoners to access your server.

Exclusive Join List is an even better Reserved Player List.

Change the color to match your brand or vision, add your logo, choose the perfect layout, modify menu settings and more.

4. Safety First

If you want to mark special zones or PvE – only spaces, take a closer look at the Savezone section.

You need a couple things before pressing Add.

A name for your zone, the X and Y coordinates at the Center, and the radius.

Yes, Savezones are circles. You can overlap them to create a wider zone.

Toggle On/Off Damage:

  • Boxing
  • Melee Weapons
  • Throwing
  • Projectiles
  • Explosives
  • Damage to Bases
  • Damage to Vehicles
  • Puppet Damage
  • Player Lockpicking
  • World Lockpicking

5. Go Above & Beyond

Take a long look at the Extended section. It covers the fine details of the server.

Loot has 2 categories: Regular & Examine

Puppets have 3 categories: Interior, Exterior, Wild

Base related settings are here, like whether or not it’s even allowed.

Prisoner settings like Respawning, Camera Perspective, and Squads is here as well.

Check it out. This is where you make your server truly unique.

6. Drive Yourself Crazy

Next two sections are Vehicle and Gasoline.

  • Tractor, SUV, Wheelbarrow, Pickups, and Quads

Adjust things like Fuel and Battery Drain, as well as Vehicle Inactivity/Despawn.

In Gasoline, you can adjust how quickly gas stations refill.

7. Custom World Settings

This is one of my favorite sections: World.

You can set up your own custom map. I’m still experimenting with this, so if you have any info, I welcome you to share it in Global Chat.

8. Weather Settings

These setting are about the Time on the island and Nighttime Darkness.

When it comes to the night sky, the moon has an effect on the water levels.

Waves and water will react to the Moon Phases as of v0.5
