Log 5: HUD
New File
We cleaned up the HUD and removed all the default information. The idea is to have a clean/minimalist display while playing. We'll end up using SimpleCarHUD and a couple other resources to add the info back in the how we envision it.
The Map
You'll have to use your memory for now. Learning the map will come in handy if you're someone that drives a lot. There will eventually be devices and ways to view the map, of course, but by default there is no map.
Vehicles
We added in the 1968 Mustang Fastback by Dani02, customized the handling, and added a second 'modified' version. This is the first car we've tuned and had a blast doing it. We also added in a 2016 Panigale by hndsyrn and modified the handling file for that as well.
Step 3: Health
Your health can be toggled by playing an animation and getting feedback. Something you'll need when swimming is an air apparatus to see an automatic visual. Using the XNL Rank System, we want to create a script that lets you 'learn' to breath under water. So over time your bar will automatically show and you'll have more air time.

Your health is shown in the bottom left corner. It's there as a courtesy until a better script is created. Development Markers
Log 5 is about the interface. We cleaned up the HUD and changed the way some default information is displayed. Health, armor, and air are still in their respective “areas”. You’ll find vehicle information in the bottom right with time/day displayed in the top right corner. Lastly, a compass is located in the bottom center of the screen.
CoRP HUD
This resource does the basics of removing elements like icons, cash, vehicle text, and the weapon wheel. In addition to that, it disables important keys for me that overlap on the KB/controller.
No Reticle
We removed that pesky little dot in the center of the screen. I know, it was annoying. You're welcome.
Time & Day
To add some depth to the server, we added in a Time and Day element to the top of the HUD. It's something simple that you will eventually be able to toggle on/off.
SimpleCarHUD
We pulled this script apart to extract a few details; your current location/direction, cruise control & seat belt indicators, and your speed.
Compass
This is a simple resource put in to help when driving or walking. You will eventually be able to toggle this on/off. It's active right now, but future versions will require an item.
